虾仁三鲜饺子 (Xiaren Sanxian Jiaozi - Shrimp and Three Delicacies Dumplings)

Ingredients:

  • 虾仁 (Xia Ren) - Shrimp, 200g
  • 猪肉末 (Zhu Rou Mo) - Ground pork, 100g
  • 韭菜 (Jiu Cai) - Chinese chives , 100g
  • 鸡蛋 (Ji Dan) - Egg, 1 piece
  • 姜 (Jiang) - Ginger, 10g
  • 葱 (Cong) - Green onion, 20g
  • 饺子皮 (Jiao Zi Pi) - Dumpling wrappers, 20 pieces
  • 酱油 (Jiang You) - Soy sauce, 2 tbsp
  • 香油 (Xiang You) - Sesame oil, 1 tbsp
  • 盐 (Yan) - Salt, 1 tsp
  • 白胡椒粉 (Bai Hu Jiao Fen) White pepper powder, 1/2 tsp

Instructions

Prepare the Filling

Finely chop the shrimp, Chinese chives, ginger, and green onion. In a large bowl, mix the shrimp, ground pork, Chinese chives, ginger, green onion, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir until well combined.

Wrap the Dumplings

Place a small amount of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over the filling, and press to seal, creating pleats along the edge.

Cook the Dumplings

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dumplings and cook until they float to the surface, about 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
